Primary Comics

Ages 8 - 11

For students who like creating their own stories and want to do this in a visual way, then comics and graphics novels are for them.

Students will learn how to tell an interesting story, techniques that comics use and how to create their own. The comics are all produced online using pre-drawn characters, so drawing ability does not matter (unless you really WANT to draw it all yourself!). This course will result in you creating your own comic book pages.

This course spans 15 hours, 1.5 hours a week for 10 weeks.

Primary Comics will be running in 2025.

Students will be provided with access to Pixton.com for the duration of the course- this is an educational website that allows students to create their own comics. None of their information will be displayed or stored on the site, and there is no communication function.

Course costs $199 for the term. Courses are group sessions of 2-5 students.
